In the spring of 2016, Daniel Kadawatha & Sebastian Forslund decided to make unguided pop experiments. This experiment should later evolve into an established concept called HIDININ.
Before they formed HIDININ, Daniel and Sebastian had been (and still are) bandmates in the rockband KADAWATHA, where they have shared many great musical experiences, like touring with bands like Paramore, Tegan & Sara, as well as working with big producers and major industry labels.
Even though they still play together in KADAWATHA, Daniel and Sebastian felt they needed another project for a different type of music they wanted to create. Since they both work as fulltime songwriters and musicproducers, there were many unfinished songs available to mess around with. In 2016 they started to experiment with these songs, they developed a sound they loved and the new band HIDININ was born.
HIDININs first single "Free but Hollow" was a song that Daniel had written back in 2015, and since it was pretty much finished already, they decided to start off the whole project with that song and put the HIDININ sound on to it by making a new production.
Now the band is working on all those unfinished song-ideas, as well as writing new stuff from scratch, and they do all composition, writing, producing and mixing together. The creative process is very experimental and they want to keep it that way. For Daniel and Sebastian, the HIDININ project was always meant to be like a musical safe haven where they can just experiment, be creative, have fun and yet make great music.
