The Audittion To Release Self Titled Album On April 28
In less than two weeks, Chicago's very own rock gems THE AUDITION will release their third full-length studio record: Self-Titled Album. A testament of their true pop-rock trademark, Self-Titled Album combines the best attributes of their previous work and kicks up the spice we've come to expect from them. From mixing the well-crafted lyrics of their first release, Controversy Loves Company, with the punchy, spirited rock of Champion, THE AUDITION is delivering a fine-tuned record that is bound to define their career and bring them to the level that they are meant to be at. Tracks on the new record range from fast-paced dancey pop with uncontrollable hooks to lyrically intense and mellow, masterfully performed by these four incredible musicians and produced by Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, The Starting Line, and Blink 182). Listen to clips from the new album at the bands' MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/theaudition).
THE AUDITION is out on the road supporting Kevin Rudolf on the "Let It Rock Tour," which runs through May 8th. The band immediately follows these dates by jumping on tour with Forever The Sickest Kids through the end of May. THE AUDITION has sold over 100,000 records worldwide and Self-Titled Album is going to skyrocket that number after being named one of the Kerrang! Most Anticipated Albums of 2009.
