Deep Elm Records Signs Lights & Motion From Gothenburg, Sweden
Deep Elm Records has signed cinematic post-rock powerhouse LIGHTS & MOTION from Gothenburg, Sweden. Deep Elm will release the stunning 13 track instrumental debut Reanimation worldwide on January 16, 2013. LIGHTS & MOTION's braintrust is 24 year old, self-taught multi-instrumentalist, producer, recording engineer, mixer and all around musical savant Christoffer Franzen. All of the songs on the album were created and composed in real-time during late night insomniac sessions by pure accident, improvisation and inspiration. One media outlet describes LIGHTS & MOTION as "the brand new Sigur Ros-EITS-Coldplay-cinematic soundtrack-mash-up that brings a fresh breeze into a otherwise linear and narrow genre."

Alter Bridge was formed in 2004 by Mark Tremonti (lead guitar, vocals), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums), all former members of Creed, with Myles Kennedy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), formerly of The Mayfield Four.
