Rolling Stone Spotlights The Virginmarys; Album Hitting Feb 12
Rolling Stone is giving fans a taste of The Virginmarys with a free download of a special stripped-down version of “Dressed To Kill,” one of the songs appearing on the band’s upcoming album, KING OF CONFLICT. Available everywhere February 12th, KING OF CONFLICT (Wind-up) was recorded live with producer Toby Jepson and mixed by Chris Sheldon (Pixies, Foo Fighters). Classic Rock magazine praised the album for “channeling Free, the Foo Fighters and the ghost of Keith Moon” and the BBC gushed over the Brit trio’s “raw intoxicating rock & roll in the finest traditions of the genre.” Fans can check out the band at this year’s SXSW (details coming) and advance copies of KING OF CONFLICT are available for review (see full track listing and album art below). On Thursday, January 24th, alternativeaddiction.com will premiere the lyric video for the band’s lead single, “Dead Man’s Shoes” – the clip will be available with all streaming partners January 25th.
