NEEDTOBREATHE, who are currently in the studio working on their new album, are excited to hit the road and give fans a chance to hear new songs for the first time in a live setting. The "Drive All Night Tour 2013" will be the band's only North American headline tour this year and will begin on April 2 in Memphis, TN. Tickets will be available to fan club members today, January 22 and the general public on Friday, January 25 via NEEDTOBREATHE.net.
Working in both Los Angeles and Charleston, SC recording studios, the band's upcoming album (more details to come) is the follow up to their acclaimed record The Reckoning, which captured the attention of Rolling Stone, MTV and USA Today for songwriting that touches on the classic elements of rock and The New York Times raves "is reaching for the far seats of the arena."
Spending most of 2011 and 2012 on tour, playing festivals including Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits and the UK's Hard Rock Calling, NEEDTOBREATHE have won over sold out crowds around the world.
Before setting out on tour, the band will join the Commonwealth Cares Foundation to host the annual NEEDTOBREATHE Classic Golf Tournament on March 19. This event will raise funds for the Palmetto Medical Initiative, which aims to increase accessibility to global medical missions and exists to provide sustainable, quality healthcare to those in need in Uganda.
