As he gears up for the July 22 release of his new album Hope on Tell The Rest Records, FLINTFACE is road ready as he gets set for a trek of dates with The Trews, kicking off at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh on June 4th, with more summer dates coming and a stop at Summerfest in Milwaukee on July 2 where he’ll perform on the Uline Warehouse Stage.
“This record is about having faith in where we are headed, without forgetting where we came from,” says Joe Scorsone, aka FLINTFACE, when asked about his upcoming album Hope produced by Ross Hogarth (Van Halen, Ziggy Marley, Sick Puppies.) "Ross really finalized my sound. He helped me articulate who I am in music. I was finally able to communicate what I had always wanted to" continues Scorsone.
That message comes through loud and clear on the first single "Army of Rejects," which will be available digitally on June 24. Combining classic-rock bombast with a soft, soulful melody, the song is sharply infectious. "I want to build a community of people that carry each other. That's the Army of Rejects in my mind.” says Scorsone
With the nine songs that make up HOPE, FLINTFACE has delivered a solid body of work that would be the envy of any new artist. Every single song contains nuggets of truth that will resonate and inspire.
