MisterWives Share New Track "Coloring Outside The Lines" Ahead Of Next Week's Album Release

MisterWives
continue to tease new music from their forthcoming sophomore album Connect The Dots, due May 19th via Republic Records/Photo Finish, as today they drop the buoyant "Coloring Outside the Lines" via all DSPs. The song joins "Drummer Boy," "Oh Love," and single "Machine" as instant grat tracks released before the album's drop and made this week's New Music Friday on Spotify. The album was produced by Butch Walker (Weezer, Taylor Swift, P!nk, The Donnas) and the band's own Etienne Bowler (drums), pre-orders are available now.

"Machine" looks to pass the 6 million play mark on Spotify this week as the single trends towards the Top 40 on Alternative. MisterWives stopped by to perform the single on The Late Late Show with James Corden last month before debuting the song's visual counterpart on Billboard.

Connect The Dots is MisterWives' highly anticipated follow up to debut album Our Own House. Released in 2015, the band's debut has racked up 200 million plays on Spotify and counting. The album spawned RIAA Gold certified single "Reflections" and landed them an Artist to Watch nomination at the mtvU Woodie Awards.

The band is set to hit the road this summer on The Band Camp Tour, their first headlining run in support of the album. The tour kicks off with a sold-out release show at Bowery Ballroom on May 16th and continues in June, full dates below which include festival stops at Summerfest, Firefly, and a headlining slot alongside MGMT and Local Natives at Mamby on the Beach. Tickets can be purchased here

Did you know that?

311 is the police code for indecent exposure in Omaha, Nebraska. The name was erroneously thought to be an allusion to the Ku Klux Klan, and band members have given various other explanations in the past.
