While it awaits the early 2007 release of its fourth Epic album, Good Charlotte will hit the road this fall with support from up-and-coming rock trio the Pink Spiders and another band to be announced. The tour begins Sept. 27 in San Francisco and runs through Oct. 22 in Baltimore.
"We wanted to get back to you and play some of our favorite clubs that we use to play when we first started out so these shows will be really up close and personal," the band writes on its Web site.
The as-yet-untitled album, produced by Don Gilmore, will be the follow-up to the band?s 2004 effort "The Chronicles of Life and Death," which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 1.1 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
