Review

I remember reviewing Swedish punk rockers Nemas a while ago. Sadly the band was disbanded but from the ashes rose Tear Them Down and picked up pretty much where Nemas left off. Their debut EP is a high octane affair consisting of five fast-paced punk songs. The total playing time is a little over 11 minutes so you can tell that these are no out-stretched numbers. Instead this is in-your-face punk rock quite similar to early Millencollin and well, Nemas. If you are a fan of Nemas you will probably like this as well as the music is not a far cry from what Nemas did.

I like the energy of this band and I think that this EP would lift the spirits at any pre-party. The gang sung choruses add to the nice feel and it is impossible to sit completely still when you hear these songs. Fans of Rancid, Pennywise etc might also want to check this out. I believe that this is a very promising, although short, start for the band and I look forward to a full length album by these guys, bring it on!
