Review

There´s something about Eddie Grey´s music that feels rather timeless, I can´t put my finger on what it is but all I know is that his new album "The love thief" could´ve been released in 1980 as well as 1994 or 2005. The sound isn´t trendy or dated to a certain decade, I like the rich and big sound here and Eddie Grey´s crossover of pop, funk and rock works very well. I prefer the more rocking side of this album over the Jason Mraz-like summer pop tunes, we get both ballads and upbeat pop/rock songs as well as groovy dance floor fillers. If you make a soup of Roachford, Alien Ant Farm and Jason Mraz, you´ll get Eddie Grey´s Love Thief. Highlights - Hideaway, My only thoughts of you, Guys and girls, One week, Cant stop loving you.
