Review

Gerry Beckley - one of the voices from the band America release his soloalbum "Carousel" last autumn and I thought I should write a few lines about it as it is worth your attention. That - if you like me enjoy beautiful mature powerpop. The album is produced by Beckley himself with assistance from Jeff Larsson and there is a bunch of cool sessionguys involved... The songs are written by Gerry himself except a few covers and "No Way I'm Gonna Lose You" that is co.written with Dan Wilson from Semisonic. If you like an album in the vein of a soft Semisonic album combined with Jayhawks you will have a friend in this album. Really good.
