Review

The Hawk In Paris features Jeremy Bose, Dan Haseltine and Matt Bronleewe. You know to expect quality with these names involved in a band, Bronleewe is a former member of Jars of Clay and Dan Haseltine is a current member of Jars of Clay and together they sound a bit like an 80´s synthpop version of JOC. Their debut EP "His + Hers" is a real nice collection of synth tunes with a touch of modern electronic sounds, the band is working on their debut full length to be released in spring 2012 so there will be more music coming from these gents. Artists that comes to mind while listening to "His + Hers" are A-HA, Depeche Mode and Thomas Dolby.

Tracklisting 1. The New Hello (Hers)
2. Put Your Arms Around Me
3. Curse The Love Songs
4. Between The World And You
5. Science Fiction
6. Simple Machine
7. The New Hello (His)

Did you know that?

311 is the police code for indecent exposure in Omaha, Nebraska. The name was erroneously thought to be an allusion to the Ku Klux Klan, and band members have given various other explanations in the past.
