Review

Los Angeles modern rockers Attaloss is Rockridge Records latest signing. This band, however, differs somewhat from what they usually releases there, as they youngsters is a pure Modern Rock band. They have shared stage with big acts like Neon Trees, Smashing Pumpkins, and Patrick Stump and have a fresh sound, not very far from Sr-71. There is a nice punk-pop in their style, which results in good amounts of energy and positive vibes from start to end.
The highlight is the catchy opening track "Open Door" where frontman Danny Aguiluz sounds eerily like Mitch Allen of Sr-71. But other songs like "Before You let Me In" and "Fate Will Only Know Tomorrow" shows big potential and the band is to be reckoned with in the future.
The only thing I have an opinion about is that we "only" got five "real" tracks here on this ten-song record. The second half contains with acoustic versions of the first five, which is ok, but would have preferred a few more original tracks.
However Attaloss well worth checking up if you like Modern Rock with punk edge.
