Review

A band that has every chance to get their big breakthrough is Australias Sons Of Midnight. Like their compatriots Savage Garden they delivers world class pop and their debut is filled with radio hits. Ok, they are a little more rock-oriented, but songs structure is basically pop and they really know how to write melodies that just stuck at once. Songs like "Hard To Love You", "Sliding Doors" and "The Fire" are all made for radio and MUST be hit the next summer.
The band is signatory to the Universal Germany, which means that they have every chance to get their big break here in Europe. That they have not been signed down under is a bit strange since they have the same A&R as Savage Garden, but somehow they slipped through the filter or I'm completely tone deaf.
So if you like classy pop like Tal Bachman meet Destine meets The Pusher, Sons Of Midnight an obvious choice! Very good album!
