Review

"Invisible Stars" is Everclear’s eighth album and the last "real" since 2006’s "Welcome to the Drama Club". Between these ones we have got four albums with covers and remakes so it really was high time to release something "real" from the band. And must say that Art and his new guys really delivers a great collection of songs in a clean and stylish production. It almost feels like traveling in a time machine back to 2000 when the band was at its peak and released Songs from an American Movie Vol 1 and 2. "Invisible Stars" is actually in the same class with really good tracks like "Tiger in a Burning Tree" "Santa Ana Wind" and the first single "Be Careful What You Ask For". So if you like what they have done before, this is a must to check out for sure. A nice surprise!

Tracklisting 1. Tiger in a Burning Tree
2. Falling in a Good Way

5. Santa Ana Wind

7. I am Better Without You

9. Jackie Robinson
10. The Golden Rule

Did you know that?

The Goo Goo Dolls initially consisted of John Rzeznik (vocals, guitar), Robby Takac (vocals, bass guitar) and George Tutuska (drums, percussion). While Takac and Tutuska had been long-time friends in school, Rzeznik was playing in the band The Beaumonts, with Takac’s cousin. The three founded the band under the name "Sex Maggots". However, when a club owner booked the band, he requested they change the name, as the local newspaper could not print their current name. The trio picked the current name out of a True Detective ad for a toy called a Goo Goo Doll.
