Have really enjoyed Signum A.D. since their very strong debut Ep "Music as Morphine” from 2008. They succeeded in a very impressive way, mixing melodic of Modern Rock with more heavy metal riffs not entirely far from Sevendust when they are in their most commercial mood.
Is a little surprised that the bands former label Silent Majority Group did not focus more on them as I thought they had the little extra to break through. The band was then released the full-length album "The Unsilenced" independently, which is also a very good Modern Rock package.
However, the band is now back with five songs Ep called Veto the Vulture Vol 1 and this with the new lead singer Sammy Vincent. He’s got a great voice that is darker voice than Dave Ruyle who previously sang the band and he also did a very good job. However, I think Sammy is slightly sharper which you can hear in the strongs "Pray For Me" and "Blame Me" as carried by Signum A.D.'s typical sound. The remaining three songs the same high class and cannot wait to get a sequel from this powerful band.
A given Ep checking out if you like the tougher side of Modern Rock like band as Submursed, Veer Union and Rev Theory!
