Description: William Beckett is probably a new name to many, but he is no newcomer in the industry. With the band The Academy Is... he released three albums and sold more than half a million records. However, that trip ended to soon when the band was dropped by their label Fueled By Ramen and the members decided to go their separate ways.
However, he is now back in great shape and released in early 2012 this four song EP "Walk the talk". The sound is again melodious and warm pop, but without the trace of punk / pop that The Academy Is... had. Really like power-pop candy "Oh, Love" that with the right promotion has become a radio hit for sure. Check out if you’re into catchy pop!
