Review

An exciting band from Sweden is teh visual kei band Seremedy. And what is the visual kei to begin with? In short, one can say that it is Japan's answer to glam rock where the artist are men, but look like women.
In Seremedy we got the guitarist Yohio that looks like a cute Japanese schoolgirl, but is a young man that plays really good guitar. Very strange and odd, but believe that the band will have a breakthrough this winter with this creepy image.
Musically speaking, it is no great sensation with a mixture of NUMETAL, Goth rock and pop. It feels too youthful and "pop-punkish" like a harder version Tokio Hotel for my taste. But there are quite ok tracks like "No Escape" and "Shivering" where the band shows that they have hitpotential and that they are to be reckoned with.
