Review

Parabelle started out as a side project with Kevin Matisyn, former lead singer of Evans Blue and Kenneth Nixon of Framing Hanley. However, it has evolved to become a "real" band now and they have now released three studio albums and an acoustic compilation album. Really liked their last Reassembling the Icons that felt very similar to Evans Blue but with a slightly lighter and less aggressive sound.
This new album Your Starry Eyes Will Never Make Us Even following the same track and offers Modern Rock in an emotional and thoughtful format. However Parabelle is no soft band and is like 10 Years and Cold relatively aggressive occasionally without being destructive in any way.
Shall I compare Parabelle and Evans Blue in 2012; I think this band is the winner with better songs and a slightly more pleasing sound. Tracks like "In The Shadows", "Whisper" and "Your Starry Eyes" is top class and Evans Blue have been that good since debut The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume from 2006.
