Review

Here is a nice little album for the people who melodic metal in the vein of Killswith Engage, Bullet for My Valentine and Mutiny Within and similar bands. As you can guess it is all about heavy riffing, nice vocals and plenty of guitar solos, plenty of stuff to bang your head to so to say. There are also some cool guest appearances from August Burns Red, Memphis May Fire and This or the Apocalypse.

There is always a nice quite fast paced tempo to the songs here and most vocals are sung even though there are screamed parts as well. There also some falsetto part which almost sound a bit Bruce Dickinson but they suit the music well. You Will Be Replaced is a song that sticks right away. So is Jericho, both have brilliant choruses.

My biggest issue is that some of the songs sound a bit too alike but if you like one of them, you will probably like the rest as well. Overall this is a safe metal album, one that will not disappoint.

Did you know that?

The first CD pressed in the United States for commercial release was Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA.
