Review

The Norwegian singer Jorn has recorded a new album in which he has picked out a little different and lesser known Jorn songs and added classical orchestral arrangement with a good result. The classical arrangements were added to the existing already studio version, but some songs were remixed to give more room to the orchestra. The songs really sounds more pompous and must say more melodious than the early versions. Everyone knows what a strong and powerful voice Jorn have and these songs raises even more now. Just listen to I Came To Rock is awesome. Dio's Rock And Roll Children is outstanding and the highlight of the album. Man Of The Dark is also a powerful rocker that lifts with the orchestra. But like his other studio albums, so it does not hold true all the way with couple of fillers. But I must say that this is one of his better albums. Fans of Jorn will love this and maybe get some new ones. A nice surprise.
