Review

When you go to a Snakecharmer concert, you can expect to hear a few Whitesnake songs from the early albums. Snakecharmer filled their set with even more Whitesnake songs when they had only released one album back in 2013, but the good thing is that with 2 albums out, they can play more original Snakecharmer songs and leave the Whitesnake covers band sign behind them.

With Micky Moody out of the band, they recruited talented guitarist Simon McBride who is a great fit in the line up together with former members of Whitesnake, Thunder, Wishbone Ash, Heartland and Ozzy Osbourne.

They haven´t changed anything on the 2nd album "Second skin" and still focus on bluesy melodic rock, the new album is indeed good but not as great as the first album that I gave 4 well-deserved stars.
Singer Chris Ousey is still the star in the band and gives life to the songs like a true rockstar, just listen how he masters both the AOR-ish "That kind of love" and the Zep-rock of "Hell of a way to live".

I bet they´re a great live act and I don´t mind hearing a few songs from the early era of Whitesnake since Coverdale only does the heavy metal version of his band.
