Review

Formed from the ashes of a former pop-punk band, the Southern California quintet Sleeptalk began as the brainchild of vocalist Anthony Fitzpatrick and bassist Paul McGill. Joined by guitarist Jason Fitzpatrick, guitarist Justin Melchor, the band make use of strong, haunting hooks that weave into atmospheric melodies. They're not the best band in the genre but this the self-titled album is Sleeptalk’s most polished work to date and if you're into the atmospheric modern poprock-scene you should definately take a closer look at this album and band.

Did you know that?

Band member Rivers Cuomo had the nickname "Weezer" in school because of a breathing problem.
