Review

Why complicate things when you can go the easy way and just play rock and roll without any fuss or compromises, you know the music that is built on a groove, a few riffs, a Hammond B3 Organ and a sound that bring thoughts to the mid-70´s.
It´s only rock and roll but I like it, ohyeah. You don´t have to write hits and hope for 15 minutes of fame or be the most superheavy and angriest band on the planet. It´s enough with some simple and basic rock songs like Lionize´s 7th album "Nuclear soul".
It´s the follow-up to the 2014 album "Jetpack Soundtrack" and this band have come a long way since the debut "Danger my dear" in 2005, when they weren´t strangers to funky and soulful rock.
Lionize in 2017 is more of a classic hard rock band in the same vein as Uriah Heep and Deep Purple, I think it´s a good album where my favorite tracks are "Darkest timeline" and the title track "Nuclear soul".
