Review

Shrub has always aimed at trying to give the listener a natural high through their music. However, with Highceratops the high just didn't last very long for my ears.

Cutting straight to the point 'Go Run' and 'Fast Lane' are the highlights.

'Go Run' begins the record nicely with a go get'em attitude. Its a song to play to let all your people know that fun times are just around the corner.

'Fast Lane' is my favorite track because it gives off a mellow yet rebellious "I don't give a dame!" good time vibe. When I saw Shrub live for the first time several years ago at SXSW in Austin Texas they performed this song and I loved it. I found myself swaying along all the way through.

Overall I felt as the record progressed it lost momentum and just didn't grab much of my attention after those tracks listed above.
