Review

Thousand Foot Krutch´s 2nd live album ”Untraveled roads” contains songs taken from their three latest albums released after the first live album ”Live at the Masquerade” (2011).

”Untraveled roads” is well produced and perhaps too perfect when it comes to live recordings, featuring eight of the band´s nine last active rock radio songs.

The sound quality is really good and the band´s performance is faultless, but even though I find it superb for the stereo or my headphones. I miss the way live albums used to sound like back in the 70´s. More rough and raw.

But there´s no doubt, the band has plenty of energy and who can say no songs 4 tracks from ”Exhale” (2016), 2 tracks from ”Oxygen : Inhale” (2014) and 6 tracks from ”The end is where we begin” (2012). This is like a best of, it truly is.
