Review

Days Of Thunder is the debut album to come from The Midnight.

'Years' kicks everything thing off nice and smooth with a beautiful back story. As each lyric floats like a smooth sailing kite in the breeze the listener becomes at ease. It is then we hear clearly the determination and emotions The Midnight went through to put music out.

'Gloria' is about feeling the rush of taking on your dreams and turning them into reality. The big city lights flash before your eyes and before you know it BOOM goals are accomplished. It's a feel good get up and dance jam.

'We Move Forward' by far is my favorite song off this album. It's about taking that next step in the right direction either it be a dream or a relationship.                      After hearing 'We Move Forward' for the first time all I could visual was driving off into the sunset ready to face tomorrow. This has Los Angeles California vibes written all over it and I totally dig that.

'Days Of Thunder' along with 'Kick Drums & Red Wine' focuses more on the night life side of the big city living. From hangovers and good times to getting in fights its pretty much covered with these two.

'Los Angeles' is like that of a written postcard back to home so to speak. I feel it was a decent closing piece and a cool tribute to where this band now resides.

While this album may come off small in quantity of tracks I felt it certainly packed a punch in dynamics. It's really cool to see how far The Midnight has come since this release. Kudos to them!
