The 3rd full length from San Fransisco based I The Mighty is nothing but an encyclopedia of how to be experts in progressive/alternative rock. When I heard their previous album "Connector" (2015), I said this band is slowly aiming for world dominion with their impressive songs that shouts out longevity.
With thoughtful arrangements and strong melodies, I The Mighty has developed their sound a bit more on "Where the mind wants to go, where you let it go". The new album ain´t as heavy as "Connector", sure the band is rocking on several tunes on "Where the mind wants to go, where you let it go" but I think the production is more atmospheric which gives these songs a new dimension.
However, I bet the band will just as heavy on stage when they perform songs from the new album which by the way is great.
Highly recommendable if you like Saosin, Envy On The Coast, Thrice.
