Review

Songwriter Keith Longo left Boston for Los Angeles to seek for fortune and fame, like so many others do whether it´s acting or in the record business. So is he off for a good start with his band Flights Over Phoenix and the debut EP "Where I Comedown"? I think there´s a lot of potential in this band, the songs are catchy and this modern pop sound is handmade for radio too. The first three tracks are more of electro-pop tunes while the 4th track "Middle of the world" is a mainstream pop/rock song that feels rather misplaced here. The EP´s closing track "Sleepless nights" is a nice ballad that sounds a bit like Westlife adjusting their boyband sound into 2017.
The best track is "Hypnotize" that has Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) written all over it, the chorus is addictive. A good EP without doubt.
