Review

I don´t think Save The World is a good bandname for rock band, any other name would´ve been better than the one this Nashville based trio went for.
The music however, is so much better and I must say, a fresh take on the modern rock genre. Their debut album "One" is quite different compared to most modern rock releases out there, it´s like getting Def Leppard, Shania Twain and RED into a blender and out comes Save The World.
This is what happens when three guys with different musical backgrounds get together and create music, underneath all the layers of guitars and a compact rock production lies the same songstructures as a country pop song.
The singer/guitarist Dan Tracey gets to live his dream playing progrock in Alan Parsons Live Project, the drummer Jon Wysocki played several years in the grunge band Staind and the bassist/keyboardist Robert Wright is a well-known Country Music producer.
There are two things you need to pay attention to while listening to this record, it´s Robert Wright´s amazing bassplaying, especially in the track "Comic Con". And the other thing is Dan Tracey´s beautiful melodies, I just love his vocals.
Bravo!
