You know when we look back at a certain decade to talk about how rock sounded in the 60´s or the 90´s for example, you can always drop bands like The Kinks or Nirvana. In 20 years from now, when we will talk about rock from the 10´s, a band like Kardia would easily fit in that discussion with their modern rock sound. They are from the same neighborhood soundwise as Icon For Hire, Fireflight and Flyleaf.
The female fronted rock band Kardia comes from New England and debuted with an EP in 2012, that was followed by the full-length "Those Who Would Challenge The Sun" in 2014. On their 3rd release, "Metamorphosis", they introduce their new vocalist Nina Li who has found her place in the band just fine.
"Metamorphosis" is a solid EP of electronic hard rock, very melodic and with good songs like "Buried alive", "Dreamcatcher" and "Antidote".
