These Aussies of Hands Like Houses proved with their 2016 album "Dissonants" that they are to be reckoned with, that one was killer record and all I could hope for, was something almost near as good. So here they come with their 4th album "Anon." and it´s a total knockout of a record, and when the 31 minutes has passed, you don´t know what hit ya.
"Anon." is less electronic than "Dissonants" but more of a monster rock album. The music is so electric that you can run the trains on the great southern rail with these songs. There are moments that bring thoughts to early Filter, and other moments that makes me think of Skillet´s later era. While some songs should please fans of Fuel but as an entirety, "Anon." is perhaps more for the ones that dig One Ok Rock and coldrain. There´s something for everyone so to speak.
