Review

55 year old giljotine and snake rocker Alice Cooper alias Vincent Furnier returns to his 70?s sound on his new album "The eyes of Alice Cooper",when he had a more heavier approach on the previous albums "Brutal
planet"(2000) and "Dragontown"(2001) this stage horror showman takes a step back to the style he had on albums like "Billion dollar babies" and "Welcome to me nightmare".
The songs from Mr.Cooper a la 2003 aren?t as strong as the ones on these classic
albums but it sure is much more suitable for his look and image than the 80?s hairmetal he played together with Conan guitarist Kane Roberts or the modern metal he made before this new effort.
Ex.Kiss drummer Eric Singer plays on "The eyes of Alice Cooper" and most of the tracks are written with the two guitarplayers Ryan Roxie and Eric Dover,I must say that they have come up with some really good stuff that should make most Cooper fans happy.
If you want a new "Poison" don?t bother look here but if you?re missing the sister track to "The black widow",just check in and listen to "The house is haunted" and everything will be alright.
Want a host for your ghost ride?,well Alice is back!
