Review

Kevin Max is best known as one of the members in Dc Talk. A group that has done a couple of interesting records the last years. Now on his own feets he has done a very impressing debut and also the best cristian album this year. Ok, this year hasnt been that good from that market but this had easily been a top three last year. This album is filled with intelligent modern pop with flirts of modern rock here and there. The production signed ala Kevin himself and Adrian Belew is just great, modern and experimental. Imagine Arabian sounds, a little bit rap and different drum sounds mix with a very high level of songs. Spiritualised Be starts very surprisingly!? with the best songs in the beginning, like the opener " Return of the singer " and the second one " Existence " with some Arabian sounds and some rap in the bridge. And like this the album continues, a very pleasant journey in pop pearl heaven. What else? Owsley is playing guitar on four tracks, damn cool and we also got a poem written and spoken by Kevin. Buy or die!
