If Frank Zappa would have ever recorded a metal album I think this album titled "Off The Hook" from the Boston band "I" is the closest we will get to getting that strange comparison.

This quartet released a 3-track CD last year with all 3 songs ending up on this full length debut. I can assure you that these guys will give you a good time of fun rocking metal that is a rare thing nowadays in that world.

To give you an idea of how they sound like, take the funk of Stuck Mojo, put in some metal ala Disturbed and then add some crazy party time LOVE/HATE rock?n?roll and we?re pretty close to the sound of I.

The 2 guys that make the band really interesting to listen to are the amazing guitarist Rich Chamberlain who plays like he was Steve Vai?s cousin and then of course the singer J.Staples who could be the lost brother of Devin Townsend, coz he?s totally insane and at the same time so supercool in his way of singing these songs.

Just put on the opening track "I Never Did It" and you will sing along with the verse, the bridge and the chorus like a lucky new millionaire.

There?s lots of humour in their music, very entertaining and dont to forget.....THEY ROCK!
