Review

Billy Howerdel guitar - Maynard James Keenan vocals - Josh Freese drums -
Jeordie White bass guitar and
James Iha guitar of A PERFECT CIRCLE walk their own road with political statements, developing the metal genre into something new and creating creepy versions of classic covers on the new album "eMOTIVe".
This is a collection of songs about War,Peace,Love and Greed featuring 3 new songs from the band plus a bunch of covers you never can tell they once were classic songs from John Lennon,Marvin Gaye,Led Zeppelin,Devo,Nick Lowe,Depeche Mode and Joni Mitchell.
Keenan and Co took away the whole package of the original song down to the nude melody and made whole new arrangements with a dark feel over it,you can?t understand how eMOTIVe sounds like until you hear it......this is their "Operation Mindcrime vs The Wall".
This is music for a special kind of mood and if you manage to capture the spirit that the band had during the recording process,a new dimension of musical art will open for you.
