Review

Chevelle released after having been pushed forward a couple of times back in 2002 their second album "Wonder what?s next" that was more or less a hit for the guys. With vurneble and sensetive melodies the band mixed up thier more agressive sound really well and created an own sound, which is a key to their success.
A few months ago did "This Type Of Thinking Could Do Us In ", their follow up, hit stores and I must say now after a few spins that the guys have done their homeworks really well. We got a more constant level of this time, a little bit more commercial without being mainstream at all, and like their previous record odd and personal melodies that grows the more you listen to them. How good isn?t songs like the opener "The Clincher", the typical chevelle tune "Vitamin R" and of course my favourit "Another know it all"?
For those that likes a little bit more unique modern/alternative rock like Finger Eleven and bands like that this is nothing but safe buy, a real quality album that you will never get bored of. Thanx guys!!
