Review

20 year old Britt Black (her real name is Brittin Karroll) from Vancouver,Canada released her debut "Blackout" in early May and she?s label pal with Todd Kerns who also produced this album.
The band features: Britt Black-Lead Vocals/Guitar and 3 rocking guys backing her up,the music is straight ahead rock like a mix of Lita Ford,Billy Talent and Suzi Quatro......well you could probably throw in some more influences in her music such as The Ramones and Velvet Revolver coz Britt varies riffs the 70?s way with a more raw punk attitude but in a hardrock package.
The first single "Jet black heart" is a perfect choice to promote the album with a radio ready sound and an infectious chorus, but I am also really fond of the energetic synth rock flirt in "In your face" as well as the cool punkpop ride of "Sick and tired" that?ll make any person sing *I?m sick and tired of being sick and tired.....*.
Positive music like BB is always welcome to the house of melodic.net!
