Artist discography

The modern rock quintet Cold is reduced to a quartet on the new album "A different kind of pain" coz guitarist Terry Balsamo left to join Evanescence.
Earlier,Kelley Hayes also left Cold to form the new band Allele and was replaced by ex.Grundig axeman Matt Loughran, the band left Geffen and signed with Atlantic for their new album.
Their 4th studio album was meant to be called "The calm that killed the storm" but was changed to this new title,I like that old title better and also suits the album cover better don?t you think?!
The previous modern rock masterpiece "Year of the spider" sold 500,000 copies,so can singer Scooter Ward and co follow up with another success?!
Yes,I think so coz even if the new album is more calm and less guitar dominated - many of the songs was written on the piano.
These 11 new slow driving songs will mark a new milestone in their career,Cold handles such class and puts muscles in the music that many modern rock acts only can dream of.
To prove their strength, they put the new single "Happens all the time" as track no:6 on the album and it doesn?t feel like a long wait for the hitsingle lover coz they line up a parade of modern rock pearls with the smashing opening track "Back home",the next single contender "Feel it in your heart",the mighty "Anatomy of a tidal wave",the title track "A different kind of pain" which is my fave.........and it continues with good songs on the second half of the album.
This album is being released on Aug.30 - it ain?t as good as YOTS but almost.
