Review

Creatures of the night was a fresh new start for Kiss and a return to their rocknroll sound after Unmasked and The Elder, they recorded the 4 new tracks for Killers and Creatures of the night at the same time and worked with several outside songwriters like Adam Mitchell, Bryan Adams and Mikel Japp. Guitarist Vinnie Vincent had replaced Ace Frehley but it was Ace on the album cover and even if Ace wasn´t playing on any songs, Vinnie only played on a few songs and the rest were session guitarists like Robben Ford on "I still love you", Steve Farris on "Creatures of the night" and Bob Kulick on "Danger". This album is definitely one of their strongest albums with hits like "I love it loud" and the amazing title track, Paul and Gene are proud of this album and I can see why. What band wouldn´t wanna have their name on an album sleeve like "Creatures of the night", this is the Kiss the fans are used to hear!
