Review

So these Canadians are finally back with a new album, their first one in 3 years since "Gravity" (2002) making "Healthy in paranoid times" their 6th studio album.
This time Raine Maida and Co worked with Bob Rock again like on their last record, last summer we could preview the new track "Vampires" on a fansite that unfortunately never made it to the new album.
I have listened to this album a few times now and I must say that it?s their softest album up to date, the post grunge tendencies are gone with the wind on "Healthy....." and the band has taken a more contemporary direction.
Our Lady Peace sounds more and more like The Calling I think, the new single "Where are you?" is one of the most rocking songs on the new album and that says it all coz it doesn?t rock that much like they used to.
The band has lost their rebel sign and has become more mainstream on HIPT,nothing bad about that but it?s far from being as good as their previous albums.
How will the next album sound like? Coldplay perhaps?!
