Review

Captain Wilberforce plays British indie rock in the same vein as Aqualung,Oasis and Supergrass with lots of parallels to The Beatles.
The sunny 60?s pop of California with The Beach Boys also comes in mind while listening to this U.K band?s debut "Mindfilming",I prefer the more guitaroriented English sounding rock though on this album.
This is a one man band with Simon Bristoll-handling all instruments and vocals except drums that were played by Nick Jones and Tim Parkes,Simon is a talented musician and songwriter but maybe should bring in an outside producer next time coz it feels a bit like a home recording.Highlights:A very British earthquake,Singer wanted preferably dead
