Review

Cleveland rockers Switched released their debut "Subject to change" (2001) on Immortal records - January 10, will see the release of "Ghosts In The Machine" on their new label Corporate Punishment.
This is a 2 disc set with cd 2 featuring demos, one b-side,live rarities and the first cd containing 11 new, unreleased songs, initially recorded for the bands sophomore Immortal release.
The band today is:Ben Schigel-Vocals,Bradley Kochmit-Guitar and Joe Schigel-Guitar, former drummer Chad Szeliga has joined Breaking Benjamin and bassist Corey Lowery (who plays on these songs) teamed up with his brother Clint in Dark New Day.

Disc 2 features the b-side "Spread",6 demo versions (Howard Benson produced) of songs featured on their debut plus the unreleased demo track "She blinded me with science" and 4 live versions of "Anymore","Religion","Ten dead fingers" and "Four walls" (all songs featured as studio versions on the first album).
It?s the first cd with the 11 new songs that is the interesting part coz the band has a more melodic approach on "GITM" compared to the agressive debut, still with a mega heavy knockout sound - Schigel has done the right thing and mixed layers of guitars with a colossal rhythm section into a wall of sound.
I?m a sucker for numetal when it?s huge and massive like the songs "Empty promises","Memories of you" and "Who feels".
SWITCHED stand strong in 2006!
