Gothpunk act Aiden wanted to give their fans a special treat between albums so they recorded and released this 6 track EP just in time for halloween this fall. It contains 2 covers of Billy Idol?s "White wedding" and The Misfits "Die die my darling" plus 4 brand new tracks where only 2 can be considered as good normal songs. The EP opens with the short "A candle light intro" that is over before you know it and it ends with the dreadful acoustic ballad "Silent eyes" which features a very weak vocal performance from Wil Francis. The covers are ok but not as good as the original versions by Billy Idol and The Misfits, they feel a bit light in my opinion. The good songs here are their own upbeat rockers "The suffering" and "We sleep forever" that brings hope for the next album, Aiden are a bit uneven throughout their albums - they couldn?t even put out a solid EP.
