Review

Ohio rock band Red Wanting Blue released their first Live CD/DVD in Dec 2006, it was recorded in the band?s warehouse with 100 fans.
They play songs from almost all of their 6 albums and also a handful of new songs that will be featured on the next studio album but in full band versions.
This live recording is an unplugged set and you can?t blame them for blowing the roof off with some energetic rock because the atmosphere of this night was quite relaxing.
Some songs comes out great in a stripped version like "Spies and lovers" and "Pride is a lonely blanket" while the opposite are the tiresome versions of "Fallen" and "Come pick me up".
The latter one also flirts with Bob Dylan which doesn?t suit RWB?s sound, I think the CD is more enjoyable than the DVD which is mostly for the die hard fans.
Only ok.
