Review

Their 2005 debut "1st chapter" was a strong landmark in progmetal territories but they continue to write even more impressive music in their 2nd chapter called "Isolate".
I don´t know if the landscapes of the Norwegian fjords and the clean fresh air of their high mountains is the reason behind Michael Eriksen´s exceptional voice but I am stunned, his high pitch reminds a bit of a mix between DC Cooper (Royal Hunt, Amarans Plight) and Tony Harnell (TNT).
The band´s technical side is in the same league as Dream Theater´s and their song writing skills are on the same level as their fellow country pals of Pagan´s Mind.
The mix from Tommy Hansen is as clear as the blue waters of Greece and as powerful as the geyser´s on Iceland.
I´ve got nothing more to add than to say "Isolate" is a wetdream for any fan of song based progmetal!
