Review

This Seattle based goth/punkpop band name was chosen from the little boy in the movie "The ring".
I thought their 2005 album "Nightmare anatomy" and the following EP "Rain in hell" were ok with a few bright moments but there were something missing in their sound which they have developed on the new album.
They have been more influenced by The Cure and Joy Division on "Conviction", the new single "One love" is a highlight here along with the catchy opener "She will love you".

This is indeed their strongest effort so far but I still think they´ve got a long way to go before making a landmark.
Aiden is 13 years too late, they should´ve been on "The Crow" soundtrack in 1994 but perhaps there´s hope since there will be a "Lost boys 2" movie - if the soundtrack list ain´t completed, then Aiden´s "Darkness" is handmade for the vampire movie.
For fans of AFI, My Chemical Romance and H.I.M.
