Review

Winger released their comeback album last year named IV and it was a great return from this classic band. Now Frontiers Records will release a Live DVD/CD from their 2007 US reunion tour.
I got the chance to see their show here in Sweden last year were they did a great performance. Kip Winger, Reb Beach, Rod Morgenstein and John Roth shows here how to make a good show with great deal of passion and energy.

The sound is very good, tight and they deliver songs from all 4 Winger albums and I must say that the new songs sounds great live. The harmony vocals are amazing and Mr. Beach gets the chance to show that he is a great singer as well. Kip himself sounds better than ever I must say and damn how good this man can sing even when he is chewing gum.

The songs sounds very fresh and heavier that before and both John Roth and Reb Beach does are great guitar work. I could mention every song from this live DVD/CD but I won´t. The songs that stands out are Easy Come Easy Go, Right Up Ahead, Headed For A Heartbreak, Your Great Escape, Can´t Get Enough, Seventeen, Junk Yard Dog and Hungry.
The 2CD set and DVD are only available separately and has a little different tracklist. The CD has an acoustic version of Blue Suede Shoes as a bonus track and the DVD has the song Hungry as bonus and is not included on the cd version. The DVD features some bonus material that includes a sound check performance and a photo gallery. So don´t miss this great live release from a fantastic band. Buy or die.
