Review

Aggressive Chill is a new Swedish hard rock band that makes cement metal, they focus so much on heavy riffs that it almost feels like they forget the melodies.
There are many bands popping up in my head while listening to this heavy rock affair - Skin Trade, Black Label Society, Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath (90´s era) and He is Legend.
These guys love to use distorted bass and vocals which is kinda cool on a few songs but in the long run, naaaah.
"Quill driver" featuring the nice string part, is really good and the melodic "Diamonds" is another sunny side of this mammuth heavy album.
Take out the 4 best tracks on an EP and I would give it 4, the lack of nuances takes this 13 track album down to 3.

Tracklisting 1. Clean thy Pipes
2. The Plague is you
3. Go Grey
4. Diamonds
5. Line em up
6. Hate song
7. Quill driver
8. Retool
9. Sidewalk Supertrip
10. Rectify
11. No Hands Bar
12. Meat Show
13. Horse
