Review

Alliance is back with their 3rd album and behind this super-group you will find names like Robert Berry (GTR, Ambrosia), Gary Pihl ((Boston, Sammy Hagar), David Lauser (Sammy Hagar) and Alan “Fitz” Fitzgerald (Nightranger).
This is a very nice album and they deliver solid American rock/aor in the same vein as RTZ, 38 Special and some hints of Bad English.

The production is crystal clear with a very melodic approach and the songs holds a very good quality with a couple of standout tracks. Anything Goes is a great melodic AOR-rocker that reminds of Jimmy Davis meets 38 Special.
Like Me Like That has brilliant keyboards and the song could have been on RTZ´s debut.
Broken Glass is a mid-tempo song with a touch of Bad English but the chorus is average.

But if you´re into Bad English then you will love Nothing Else I Can Do. Walkin´ Away is the best song of the album with a strong catchy chorus with strong riffs and melodies.
This is a strong album and I must say that this is Alliance best album to date and if you´re into RTZ then you can’t miss this one. It took a couple of spins for me to get into this album but now I´m hooked. A pleasant surprise and this is how American rock/aor is gonna be done and it’s delivered by Alliance.
